Job summary
Able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, you will be expected to provide a flexible and efficient repair and maintenance service over a wide range of services on electrical and mechanical plant and equipment within a wide range of locations and complex conditions from Wards and Theatres to manufacturing areas and office locations.
Main duties of the job
You should be able to take responsibility and ownership for statutory inspections under your delegated area and keep records ensuring the trust complies with current legislation. You should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills including IT and both written and verbal.
This role includes on-call responsibilities. To meet service needs, you must be able to attend the hospital within an appropriate timeframe when called and hold a valid driving licence, and have use of your own vehicle.
You will be responsible for carryout electrical/mechanical repairs and servicing across our NHS retained estates.
