Job summary
In the Nightingale Macmillan unit we believe that all patients have the right to have an individualised and holistic approach to their care at the end of their lives. We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Educator, who has extensive palliative care knowledge with a passion for teaching, training and development and supporting staff in the clinical area.
The successful candidate should be able to educate and facilitate learning to a wide range of staff including student nurses, healthcare assistants, registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Educate and facilitate learning to a wide range of staff, and deliver training sessions regarding the management of complex palliative care symptoms within the clinical environment.
- You will work directly and collaboratively with the leadership team, to ensure mandatory and essential to role training is achieved by all.
- Offer support to student nurses and newly qualified nurses in the clinical area.
