Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust for a Junior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a whole time appointment for 12 months.
Applicants must have completed Foundation Year 2 and have at least six months NHS experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The post does not carry a National Training Number (NTN).
Experience of supervising and teaching resident doctors and medical students in a UK Healthcare setting is essential.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to participate in various teaching programmes for undergraduate students. Sessions committed to the undergraduate education will be included in the timetable of duties. The post holder will take part in student examinations in Nottingham & student appraisal in Derby & may also sit on the multi-professional education committee & attend meetings of the inter-professional learning committee & Faculty Advisory Group on Inter-professional Learning & Education (FAGILE). Responsibility for organising student appraisals will be shared with other members of team.
