Job summary

We are now recruiting to a Fixed Term Facilities Assistant.

To work as a member of the Facilities Management Team to carry out a comprehensive range of cleaning, and catering tasks in Discharge Assessment Unit.

The shift pattern will be a 3 week rota working 1300-1930. Rota attached.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of a Facilities Assistant to work as part of Facilities and ward/department teams, to carry out a variety of tasks associated with cleaning, and patient catering.

This can be a physically challenging role so applicants must have good understanding of customer care and be able to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors

Similar work experience working in healthcare setting is desirable but not essential and therefore specific training will be given
