MSK Physiotherapist Band 6 - Lower Limb Rehabilitation

Job summary
A full time secondment post has become available in our Physiotherapy Outpatient Lower limb team to work as a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist.
As a senior, you will already have an extensive track record of working in outpatients with exposure to upper limb, lower limb, spinal and general rehabilitation of MSK patients. Your clinical reasoning and treatment skills will already be well established, as you will be expected to lead on the supervision of our static band 5 staff and junior staff whilst on rotation. You will contribute to our placements for pre graduate students and help to plan and deliver our staff induction and training programmes.
We have an amazing team of physiotherapists, assistants and administrators, supported by a dynamic management team. We actively encourage CPD with weekly time out and a high profile team of seniors. We encourage regular supervision and appraisal and offer good opportunities for growth.
Main duties of the job
- Work as an autonomous practitioner under the guidance of a Clinical Specialist Physio.
- Assess, agree and implement treatment plans, for complex lower limb MSK patients using well developed reasoning and treatment skills.
- Support and lead group therapy sessions as required by the service
- Maintain competence to practice through undertaking CPD & other training.
- Supervise and mentor other staff including the provision of training.
- Keep accurate records & provide communication to others following Trust and Professional standards
