An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Senior Medical Statistician & Statistical Programmer to join the UKCRC fully registered Derby Clinical Trials Support Unit (Derby CTSU). Derby CTSU actively supports high-quality, multi-centre studies across various disease areas, sponsored by both UK-based and international sponsors.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Head of Medical Statistics and Data Management, you will:
- Develop and apply advanced statistical programming to enhance service improvement initiatives and optimise processes. You will develop and maintain Stata programming solutions, including writing .ado and .dlg files.
- Manage and mentor a team of medical statisticians.
- Lead expert statistical support and consultancy service for researchers.
- Support investigators in trial design, funding application development, statistical analysis, and report writing for publications.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and produce comprehensive statistical reports.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Derby CTSU.
