An exciting opportunity has come up for an exceptional HPCP/ NMC registrant to join the Practice Learning Support Unit as a multi professional facilitator for the following post
Permanent; full time and part time hours
Supporting and working with pre registration and Apprentice learners. Liaising with the wider workforce and collaborating with educational organisations across the country.

To sustain and further drive up the quality of our placement experiences, and to continue to strengthen and provide support to learners by implementing the educational standards and ensuring governance of our emerging workforce, the Practice Learning Support Unit seeks a Registered Practice Placement Facilitator.
The role is about being clinically visible, whilst planning and ensuring processes are followed as per standards for Education and Safe Learning Charter(SLEC).
The role will require the facilitator to work acrossall 5 sites collaborating with the PLSU team and Lead and the wider team of learning and education.This role is a great role to step into education and work with our partner placement providers.
Main duties of the job
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work multi-professionally, across all divisions and all five sites to support activity when called to do so.
It is desired that the candidate will need to have some knowledge and understanding of the educational standards and SLEC they must have valid up to date educational training qualification appropriate for HCPC/ NMC registration.
Facilitators will be coaching and supporting learners to achieve the competencies set out by the NMC/ HCPC/ College, whilst following UHDB ethos and values of

It is preferable that applicants have evidence that they are capable of working at degree level or equivalent.
It is essential that the candidate has experience, in supporting students in clinical practice, whilst empowering students to lead and learn.
The candidate will gain an overview of educational standards and the objectives set by NHS England and the wider ICB across Derbyshire network
It is essential that the successful candidate can work independently and collaboratively, including the wider teams in Learning & Development, UHDB and educational leads.
The successful candidate will be working extensively with digital technology and data collection as part of the role, basic skill required but system training provided.
