An opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive Multi-disciplinary Team on the Medical Assessment Unit.
There has never been a better time to join the motivated team on the Medical Assessment Unit, with expanded capacity and new patient pathways.
Main duties of the job
The Medical Assessment Unit receives patients from the Emergency Department, GP surgeries and specialist clinics. Working on the Medical Assessment Unit you will see patients with a wide variety of conditions and will gain experience from many specialities.
Applicants will need to be compassionate, dynamic, reliable and flexible with an ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and demonstrable post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
Applicants will need to be able to adjust to readily to different conditions and be able to work the full range of shifts including long days and nights.
