An opportunity has arisen for an experienced NurseSpecialist to join our Gynaecology team. This is a short term, funded post, within our gynae services, and we are looking to recruit an experienced nurse into our friendly, expanding and evolving team. We are looking for someone who can develop and integrate this role into our fantastic services offered within Gynae.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified nurse, that is currently practising as a nurse specialist, and undertaking the roles required for this vacancy. The ideal candidate will be a qualified nurse with NMC registration and be enthusiastic about women's health. Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be an advanced nurse practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload (patients/service-users), and will provide highly specialist nursing support, advice, education, and/or care, to that specific group. They will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care, including setting of standards of care, and support in establishing evidence-based practice within Endometriosis.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the ongoing care needs of this cohort of women. They will manage expectations and support ongoing care needs and symptom control. This involves a key responsibility to audit the overall performance of the service against National guidelines.
