Senior Clinical Educator & LD / neurodiversity support Nurse

Job summary

Takes overall responsibility and is accountable for all delegated professional, practice development & education activity within the LD & neurodiversity and vulnerable people team. Will be highly visible and provide professional leadership. Will lead, offer expert professional and practice development advice to support the delivery of high quality, effective, compassionate care and reasonable adjustments. This will be in line with local, Trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.

Main duties of the job

Design and deliver professional, practice development and education activity based on policies, guidelines and evidence base to improve the outcomes and experiences of patients Learning Disabilities and or Autism

To act as an expert professional, practice developer and educator to the care teams in relation to patient care and achieving positive patient outcomes and experiences.
