Job summary
The Domestic Services Department prides itself on the high standards of cleanliness throughout our services. Healthcare Cleaners are a valued member of the Healthcare Team and are respected for the work they do.
Healthcare Cleaners provide a range of cleaning duties across the Trust and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.

Main duties of the job
Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and previous experience of working in a hospital environment, which can include wards, outpatient /clinical areas.
You must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
To be able to deliver the highest standards of cleaning service to the ward at all times observing work schedules and The National Specifications for cleanliness in the NHS requirements.
Changing curtains, wipe/wash shower curtains cleaning of all sanitary areas, working around patients.
Damp wiping of all furniture, fixtures and fittings, ledges, pipes, tiles, glass partition, walls, doors and panels, internal window blinds
The successful candidates will receive full induction training.
