We have an extremely exciting opportunity to
join our Trust as Executive Chief Operating Officer. We are seeking an
exceptional Executive Chief Operating Officer who has the energy and passion to

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS
Foundation Trust (UHDB) is a large integrated acute and community provider and
a major teaching hospital which is a trusted anchor institution at the heart of

Main duties of the job
As the Executive Chief Operating Officer,
you will play a pivotal role in fulfilling all statutory responsibilities as a
member of the Board of Directors and an Executive Director of the Trust. Your
responsibilities will include responsibility for the Trusts clinical
divisions, ensuring that they develop and deliver strong quality, operational
and financial plans and performance.
We are looking for an experienced leader who
will bring a strong understanding of operational management, an excellent track
record of delivery in leading clinical services and can evidence success in a
healthcare provider organisation of similar scale and complexity. You will be
an effective role model, exhibiting and promoting collaborative leadership
behaviours that uphold our values of compassion, openness and excellence,
providing innovative strategic vision, challenge, and support to all colleagues
in the Trust.
