Job summary
To support the H&S team achieve H&S statutory compliance and ensure staff work in a healthy and safe environment .
Ensure legislative compliance is met in line with management ask.
Main duties of the job
Provide specialist advice Trust wide with regard to Health and Safety issues
To undertake delivery of Health and Safety training.
Support, facilitate and advise on incident investigations and relevant documentation
Monitor Datix reports which come under the Health and Safety remit
Attend and contribute to Health and Safety related meetings both internal and external.
Complete reports on visits, give feedback to local managers .
To deputise for the Trust' H&S Senior Operational and Project Lead's
To work closely with the management system to identify, develop, implement and monitor training requirements
Contribute to the development of Health and Safety policies and procedure and thesuccessful implementation
Contribute to the design, delivery and updating of Health and Safety Training programs.
Maintain a record of CPD.
Monitor and audit the divisions and their departments as stipulated across the Trust to ensure they contain the correct information and relevant inspections and that risk assessments have been undertaken Facilitate and support the Health and Safety team in ensuring that COSHH risk assessments are up to date andare using the Sypol system appropriately.
To undertake audits within the area of their responsibility.
To meet their KPI / Appraisal agreed targets.
