Main duties of the job

We have 4Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, two of which have Vision RT Surface Guided Radiotherapy.

Our other equipment includes Philips Big Bore CT with full Ambient Lighting Experience, Superficial Xray Therapy; HDR Brachytherapy; and Eclipse external beam planning system. We operate all equipment on the Varian ARIA platform. We are a reference site for Vision RT and Philips.

As a progressive teaching centre for Student Radiotherapists the trust has established links with Sheffield Hallam University where our educational facilities include a seminar room. The Trust actively encourages CPD and role extension with support available to pursue academic courses to further develop and enhance your skills.

To ensure the provision of an efficient high quality service of patient care and treatment, from all areas within the Radiotherapy Treatment Suite; both during normal and extended working hours and within an emergency service commitment.
