Job summary

The Organisational Development Practitioner (OD) will implement critical OD initiatives and projects.

These initiatives will support UHDB's 'Exceptional Care Together' Strategy 2024-2030. The role will focus on the 'people experience' 5-year goal with emphasis on the underlying enabler of 'compassionate and inclusive culture (C&I) with continuous improvement.

They will provide OD and C&I services to stakeholders and support the continuous quality improvement agenda in areas such as behaviours and values, C&I Culture, culture change, ED&I initiatives, employee engagement, leadership development, change management, talent/succession planning and team development.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver key OD and C&I initiatives to support the operational aims and objectives of the Trust.
  • Deliver and facilitate leadership programmes shaping people plans and activities to deliver positive organisational change through a range of OD activities.
  • To design and deliver leadership development training through a blended approach.
  • Coach and mentor a range of leaders to support them improve their practice.
  • To develop teams to manage conflict, build trust, collaborate and co-create results to enable exceptional care delivery
