Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and innovative Specialist Grade / GP Practitioner with an interest in Emergency Medicine to work in the Emergency Department at Royal Derby Hospital. This role may suit a General Practitioner looking for a new challenge
The successful applicant will work as an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, comprising of nursing staff, advanced clinical practitioners, junior and senior clinical fellows and IMT doctors along with our substantive Consultant Physicians in Emergency Medicine.

You will have the opportunity to manage a range of acute medical problems and to develop your clinical leadership within these areas. This includes developing medical SDEC specific clinical pathways to complement those already in operation and play a key role in the interface between Acute Medicine and primary care.
Main duties of the job
The major roles of the successful candidate will include (but not be limited to):
- Working alongside other members of the Emergency Medicine multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality healthcare in the Emergency Department
