Job summary
This is a challenging and unique role working in workforce planning across the Trust to ensure we have the right people, with the right skills in the right place within the organisation.
The post holder will work with the Assistant Director of People Planning and Development to provide effective leadership and contribute towards the development and delivery of the trust-wide a workforce plan and includes supporting the development of the ICS workforce submission. This will require accurate workforce data
In order to do this , the post holder will develop effective and collaborative relationships with Finance, Business Intelligence and People Services as well as engaging with Divisional and Clinical leads to ensure we reflect and develop workforce plans in order to deliver excellence in patient care.
Main duties of the job
To support the development and delivery of the Trust Workforce Plan and integrated Care System workforce submissions including:
- Support the consultation with Divisional, clinical, financial and HR colleagues to understand the service and workforce needs
- Support the accurate development and analysis of workforce data in order to develop service improvements
- Support the development of workforce forecasting data in order to understand future workforce recruitment to meet service needs
- To develop and co-ordinate distinct workforce planning projects utilising project management skills including developing ideas into plans, scoping and monitoring projects managing risks and issues
- To provide assurance through the development of workforce reporting including system submissions and KPIs
