Maternity CNST Project Manager

Job summary

At UHDB around 9,000 babies are born across our two sites each year at Royal Derby Hospital (RDH) and Queens Hospital Burton (QHB). We provide antenatal and postnatal care for 11,500 women each year and, at RDH, we offer an alongside birth centre. We support women through low and high-risk care pathways, and some specialty pathways like diabetes and cardiology.

An extensive induction package is offered to successful candidates joining our Maternity services to ensure you are well supported and have time to adjust to working within our teams.

Main duties of the job

NHS Resolution as part of their CNST programme are now in Year 5 of the Maternity Incentive Scheme (MIS), and ambitious scheme commissioned to enhance quality in Maternity services. The Trust is also required to collate evidence to support compliance of Key Maternity quality indicators, as outlined in the Ockenden recommendations. The aim of this role is to work with key stakeholders to collate and performance manage the Maternity service to comply with the safety actions within each years iteration of the MIS, and the requirements of the final Ockenden review.
