Job summary
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated Registered Nurses that have a passion and commitment to work in a specialist area who strive to develop themselves working across professional boundaries.
You will be working within Kings Lodge (Ward 3) a 19 bedded specialist Rehabilitation Unit providing Adult Neurological Rehabilitation for patients with complex and specific neurological conditions, including traumatic and acquired brain injury. Kings Lodge is based at our Florence Nightingale Community Hospital site.
You will be supported to increase and develop your clinical and leadership skills and during your induction you will spend time with all members of the MDT.
Requirements of the role:o Excellent communication skillso Neurological rehabilitation experience is desirable.o Must be able to demonstrate Multi-Disciplinary workingYou will be expected to maintain high standards of specialist nursing care and be committed to maintaining patient's safety, privacy and dignity by being motivated, caring and wanting to make a difference to the patient's experience with a positive attitude. Main duties of the job
Registered Nurses - Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate holistic, individualised patient care in a safe and caring environment in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst acting as the patient's advocate and maintaining privacy and dignity. To provide advice and support to junior staff and learners in all aspects of the delivery of high quality care.
