Job summary

UHDB(University hospitals of Derby and Burton) and Chesterfield Royal Hospital are part of the largest digital health and social care transformation programme in the world. With investment of more than £1 billion pounds a year nationally and a significant additional spend locally, this programme of work has been created to give staff and citizens the technology they need.

Due to this brand-new Innovation programme, we will be looking for a number of specialists to lead this Digital transformation, which will support health and social care in Derbyshire including an experienced Data Migration Manager

You will lead on all aspects of data migration from audit and cleansing of existing legacy data and records solutions (including but not limited to the PAS, Historical Records archive and Data Warehouses) to the migration of datasets into defined target solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to join a newly created team that focuses on articulating the impact of this exciting new programme of work.

The role will manage resources and work with external Stakeholders and project team members to ensure that the necessary infrastructure, processes, skills and resources are available to support all Data Migration activities.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide expert advice and guidance to the procurement of specialist Data Migration services as required and hold suppliers to account for successful Data Migration activities. The role will report to the System Manager whilst also representing the interests of each Trust's Senior Information Risk Officer (SIRO) or Senior Responsible Owner (SRO).

The post holder will have:

Postgraduate degree in a relevant Informatics subject or equivalent level experience within project management.

Previous experience of Data Migrations and data quality within a Healthcare environment.

Risk Management experience of both operational and programme risks.

Specialist knowledge and awareness of Data mapping and verification processes

A positive approach to problem solving, with the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment.

Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with a range of Stakeholders.
