Job summary
To support the Business Development Manager in providing a programme of training and educational event on rehabilitation and related topics, equipping Health and Social Care professionals with the skills and knowledge to delivery NHS policy objectives.
This is a specialised and demanding role requiring the relevant skills and experience.
They will work to provide an efficient and responsive service, maintaining a courteous and professional approach at all times whilst on Trust business and undertake necessary duties to ensure the maintenance of an efficient and effective event management service.
Main duties of the job
NCORE (National Centre of Rehabilitation Education) delivers over 150 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events a year with the aim of providing Health Care Professionals from all disciplines with high quality training ; that is affordable, accessible, practical and consistently relevant to the needs of all.
The Event Administrator supports NCORE by providing a comprehensive and professional event administrator service for the relevant lecturers and the delegates; including all liaisons with relevant lecturers, delegate bookings, including financial transactions, over a programme of events (face-to-face and virtual courses). Working across a wide range of professions and organisations, the post holder is responsible for managing all NCORE event activities including the formulation of relevant acknowledgement event packs tailored for each course; all of which have very different and often complex requirements.
