Job summary
The Education Facilities team support and manage the Trusts education and learning space for Trust staff, students and trainees. The team manage the rooms, provide audio visual support for meetings and set up equipment for all types of training and are the first point of contact for all our users.
We have Education learning spaces across the main hospital sites comprising classrooms, clinical & simulation training and lecture theatres.
This role is located on Ward 3 in NTGH.
There are 2 Sim Bays which support Clinical Skills teaching .
Main duties of the job
To ensure the efficient and effective running of the Education Centre.
To oversee and maintain the Education Centre and its resources.
To take and manage room bookings.
To assist in room preparation prior to occupation, to include the setting up of equipment and movement of furniture.
To support with the set up and maintenance of clinical skills equipment

- NVQ level 3, RSA 3, City and Guilds certification, AS Level, A-Level or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Qualification in Customer Service or Business Administration

- Previous experience as a Receptionist, or in a customer service role, or similar.
Desirable
- Experience of working in an education or training environment.
- Experience of Minute taking and the preparation of minutes.
- Previous experience in the NHS and/or in the Higher Education sector.
- Experience in planning large-scale activities e.g. conferences.
