Job summary
- The postholder will support the development and delivery of products on the Trust's modern data platform, to enable Northumbria Healthcare to improve patient care, clinical decision-making, and operational efficiency
- This will include management of the Data Platform Product Strategy, the implementation of that strategy, and follow on continuous improvement of all of the Data Platform Products.
- Management of relationships with the corporate and clinical stakeholders
- Linking engineering and governance delivery up to product feature delivery and managing the administration of that delivery process.
Main duties of the job
- The postholder will manage the definition and implementation of the Data Platform product strategy, at the direction and in collaboration with Data Platform Leadership and in-line with the vision and strategy of the Data Platform function.
- They will manage relationships with corporate & clinical stakeholders and manage the capture and translate business and clinical needs into product requirements and through into product and feature definition.
- They will work with data governance, engineering and analytics teams to help break feature definition into tasks that can be added to the team Backlog.
- They will also play a key role in collaboration with Data Platform leadership in assisting in the identification and introduction of innovative data and AI capabilities.
- They will be responsible for the administration of the Agile delivery management process in-line with the Platform product definition through into product feature level.
- This is a hands-on delivery role with opportunities for professional growth into more senior product management positions.
