Job summary
The post will be flexibly time-tabled to meet the demands of the service and the timing of sessions may change as the service develops. The post will be spent at Hexham General Hospital to support older people's services there.
The Job Plan will typically include an average of 4 Programmed Activities for Direct Clinical Care duties.

Main duties of the job
The care of the elderly department has a range of specialist interests and a successful candidate will complement the other members of the department. We expect the focus of this post to be within the elderly assessment unit in Hexham, offering same day assessment for frail patients in crisis, working closely with community and primary care colleagues.
