Job summary

Haltwhistle Hospital is a 17 bedded community hospital with a small minor injuries unit. We take patients suffering from a variety of ailments, plus carrying out rehabilitation from surgery

We care for patients who require palliative care, symptom management and end of life care

Main duties of the job

The Nursing Assistant role is assisting and supporting qualified nurses to provide care for patients suffering from a variety of conditions.

Carrying out observations on patients and reporting back to qualified nurses.
