Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Psychosexual Therapist to join our team and work within the Northumbria Sexual Health Service. The 15 hour post is based at the One to One Centre at Blyth Hospital site but may also be required to work from satellite outreach clinics in the county.
Our service provides clinic-based care and digital online services to patients requiring support with maintaining their sexual health including all forms of contraception, STI screening, treatment and psychosexual therapy as well as health promotion to the local population.
Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of the psychosexual service for NHCT. Providing a confidential and expert service to those patients experiencing sexual difficulties.
To role model com passionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working andcollaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
