Job summary
The purpose of the Nursing Associate post is to actively coordinate patient pathways through the Rheumatology department, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their Rheumatology treatment at the Trust. This role includes providing an effective clinical administrative and telephony service.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job will be to assist in the co-ordination of patient care, this will include the use of telephony systems and IT systems whilst working collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Analytical and organisational skills are a key factor to this role, an ability to work autonomously is essential following training, with support from the nursing team. The candidate will undertake risk assessments with patients following guidance and standard operating procedures, and should be able to travel across the Trust to apply this skills.
