Northumbria healthcare foundation trust are looking to recruit Nursing Assistant's to join the Children's Unit, we are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, well organised person who is self motivated. You will have to be able to work as part of a team, possess good communication skills. You will be required to demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality.

Main duties of the job
The Children's Emergency Care Unit and 14 bedded short stayfacilitycaters for children aged 0-16 years who require emergency assessment and treatment with a 24 hour inpatient facility if required.
We also provide supportto medical staff in clinicand day case settingsat North Tyneside General Hospital andWansbeck General Hospital.
We have a range of shifts 7 days per week including day shifts, early shifts , late shifts , twilight and weekends.
The role is to provide high standards of care to patients accessing our services. You will need to embrace our trust values, demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a flexible approach to your work.

To work as a member of the Childrens Unit by carrying out basic observations, helping with treatments, cleaning duties and supporting patients and their families. The Childrens Unit Nursing Assistant will work under the supervision and direction of the Children's Nurses based on the Children's Unit.
