Job summary
Ward 4 is a busy stroke and elderly rehabilitation ward based at Hexham General hospital.
Currently we are looking for a full time ward coordinator to work along side our existing team. The vision is to expand the ward co-ordinator service to incorporate evenings and weekend cover.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive admin service to the Ward Manager and supporting team.
The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. You will beresponsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of administrative, minor maintenance, catering, cleaning and other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the ward manager.
The post holder will be required to monitor quality standards and report deficiencies and take appropriate action.
