Job summary
You will be joining a multi skilled IT team, to assist the main Server, Network, EU Device and Telephony architects and implementation teams, with a focus on secure administration of network devices, best practice configurations and implementing access policies for ISE.
This role has a responsibility for the development of Cisco ISE and Aruba Clearpass/Central products as well as Developing and assisting in the security elements for the roll out of digital apps, and assist project delivery and digital improvements across the trusts infrastructure.
The role has a blend of flex working, in-office and home working. Your work base will be at the new Innovation Hub in Seaton Delaval which offers new, modern, 2022-refurbished offices, and the Trust offers a range of employee services including car lease, child care discounts, cycle to work schemes, home electronics, an NHS pension scheme and other staff benefits.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible for the administration and ownership of Cisco ISE and its development and roll out in the Trusts estate.
- Development of the Cisco DNA Centre application.
- Identify vulnerabilities in network security and develop effective solutions.
- Provide best practice security configuration and policy proposals to the Architect and Digital leadership teams.
- Management of the configuration policies for Cisco ISE.
- Development of the Logic Monitor alerting platform to improve the service delivery awareness of the Infrastructure area of Digital Services.
