Job summary

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals, who can cope with a high-pressured clinical environment. Good interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills are required to work in ward 7 at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital. Ward 7 is an acute respiratory ward, treating conditions such as lung cancer, asthma, and copd, to name a few.

Candidates must demonstrate a compassion and caring attitude towards their patients and be able to deliver high standard of care. Candidates must possess good communication and organisational skills.

You must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our patients which includes rotation betweendays and nights.

Main duties of the job

Duties include:

  • providing high levels of quality care for our patients
  • supporting the nursing team with caring for patients requiring respiratory medical intervention.
