The role is to promote and implement safe, effective, and efficient use of Digital Health solutions and information solutions in operational settings, with the ultimate aim of improving organisational performance and service delivery.
The role does not need to be a digital expert, rather, working closely with digital, clinical, nursing, and operational leadership teams, the post holder will act as a key change agent--supporting the identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that deliver the Trust's digital strategy and ensure that digital developments align with operational needs and frontline priorities.

The role will challenge existing practices, identify opportunities for efficiency and standardisation, and drive innovation in how digital systems support clinical operations. This includes promoting the effective use of data for service improvement, operational insight, and evidence-based practice.
The post holder will work collaboratively, ensuring ongoing awareness of best practice, national guidance, and emerging trends in digital healthcare. They will also support the coordination of clinical safety processes related to digital technologies, ensuring effective risk management is carried out in partnership with clinical safety teams.
