We're looking for Healthcare Support Workers to join our friendly teams across Gloucestershire Hospitals.

You don't need previous healthcare experience, just compassion, reliability and a genuine desire to help others. We'll provide full training and support you every step of the way.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you'll help care for patients on our wards and in our departments, supporting them with daily activities, helping nurses and doctors and ensuring every patient feels safe, respected and cared for. We're looking for dedicated HCSW's for various roles across multiple inpatient wards at both Cheltenham General and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of the highest standard of quality care to our patients, working alongside registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your role will include a wide range of tasks, from providing personal care to undertaking clinical observations. You will be required to follow rigorous policies such as infection control and manual handling policies. In addition, you will be providing emotional and practical support to patient and their families.
