Job summary
We are looking for an HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist to join our team to cover a period of maternity leave
You will be working with us to provide a service to cancer patients to ensure that they receive their results in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
You will have HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist and may have experience of working in a busy Histology Department.
You will work in all areas of the Histology Laboratory and be involved in provision of the technical service.
You will participate in provision of Biomedical Scientist cut-up as well as routine areas such as tissue sectioning and staining.
You will rotate through the specialist areas of the laboratory such as Immunocytochemistryand Molecular Pathology
You will be ensuring that the Department meets cancer targets and you will need to have experience of working in a team
Additional working pattern details: May include Saturday working
