Job summary
The Surgical Division are looking for applications for the post of Specialty Director, Theatres at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Specialty Director role exists to lead on the cross-county strategic development and operational delivery of the specialty service or cluster of services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for leading the delivery of clinical services for Theatres and Day Surgery Services at the highest possible standards and within the Trust's financial, workforce, operational targets and strategic objectives.
Leading the Specialties with the Modern Matron and General Manager to deliver income targets within devolved budget/s for the service line within his/her remit including working with the General Manager on Financial Sustainability Programme (FSP) plans.
