We're looking for a driven, forward-thinking person with an innovative approach to delivering high-quality specialist fertility care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive fertility experience to lead our nursing team. While experience in ultrasound scanning is preferred, we offer training for the right candidate

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the overall daily operational and human resource management of the fertility nurse team within the Cotswold Fertility Unit. They are responsible for the administration and organisation of the assisted conception programmes. They will providenursing care, support and advice to fertility unit patients.
The focus of this role is clinical leadership providing appropriate intervention, support and clinical expertise to deliver a safe clinical pathway that promotes high quality care through role modelling, expert clinical skills, promoting best practice, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and providing education.

Perform clinical tasks and specialist fertility / IVF nursing procedures e.g. ultrasound scanning to include follicular tracking, early pregnancy, baseline assessment scans within agreed and HyCosy Clinic and symptom management.
Responsible for the administration and organisation of the assisted conception programmes. Provide nursing care, support and advice to fertility unit patients. Act as a link between the multidisciplinary team and the patient. Ensure trust policies are understood and adhered to.
To ensure that all responsible nursing and midwifery staff are effectively line managed within the Cotswold Fertility Unit and developed to achieve their own and their departmental objectives which in turn will meet the service line objectives, the trusts strategic priorities, commissioning intentions, HFEA and CQC requirements
Propose & develop effective policies & quality assurance mechanisms related to ultrasound procedures, assisted reproductive treatments that impact locally & other disciplines
Clinical leadership providing appropriate intervention, support and clinical expertise to deliver a safe clinical pathway that promotes high quality care through role modelling, expert clinical skills, promoting best practice, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and providing education
