Stock Control, Band 3- Hartpury Suite (15 hours a week)

The Cardiac Catheter Labs in Gloucestershire are moving from strength to strength. We are expanding our team to support the growing service. Would you like to be part of this exciting development?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible person for our new stock control role. The successful post holder will be working in a demanding but rewarding environment and will possess a professional and proactive attitude.

You will work alongside our experienced clinical team and support them with managing the stock control for the cardiac cath labs and cardiology investigations. We are looking for someone who has a keen attention to detail, excellent IT and communication skills and a friendly can-do attitude.

Main duties of the job

You must enjoy working in a busy environment and be a true team player. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. Previous experience of working within a stock control role would be advantageous. You will need the ability to work calmly under pressure using your initiative. Knowledge of NHS computer systems would be preferable or you may be familiar with other computerised stock control systems and be a quick learner.

You will need to liaise with the clinical team and report any issues such as supply issues to the ward manager. You will need to be flexible and able to learn new skills as the department expands. Providing the best service to our patients is vital and you will therefore be passionate about patient care, with a proactive and patient focused attitude.
