Main duties of the job
Applicants must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and appropriate experience within General Radiography, CT or MRI. Consideration will be given for limited experience/training opportunities, dependent on variables.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic Radiographers who are passionate about high quality patient care. You will need to have a high level of clinical knowledge with strong communication and decision making skills, alongside the ability to prioritise and be flexible in your approach to work. The post will involve rotation through the district sites as well as the new CDC where you will manage the day to day operations of satellite sites, including equipment QA, services and appointments.
The post holder will work alongside the band 7 modality leads to deliver an efficient, effective service, whilst offering guidance and support to junior colleagues.

The Radiology Directorate at GHNHSFT manages services across 10 sites in Gloucestershire including 2 large District General Hospitals. We are the second largest directorate in the South West of England offering a broad range of sub-specialty work including adult and paediatric trauma and orthopaedic exams, mobile imaging, general radiography, cardiac and IR procedures, digital fluoroscopy, CT , MRI and Ultrasound. This is an exciting time to join us as we have recently undergone a £6.5m equipment replacement programme at Cheltenham General including 4 new digital xray rooms, a cone bean ct scanner, three new CT scanners and a new MRI scanner, whilst the Gloucestershire Royal site is currently undergoing significant refurbishment as part of the Image Guided Interventional Service (IGIS) and fit for the future project. In addition the new Community Diagnostic Hub for Gloucestershire will be going live this year.
