Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individuals to join our multidisciplinary team of staff in one of our large X-ray departments within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post will be based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary or Freeman Hospital and will include rotation to our satellite sites depending on service needs. You will be expected to work a variety of working patterns including weekday, evening and weekend shifts. You must have a flexible approach to duties and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. Experience in a hospital/caring environment is desirable.

Main duties of the job
The role involves a wide range of duties, including patient care, assisting staff performing radiological procedures, portering and clerical work, which are all required to provide an efficient imaging service.
The successful candidate will require good communication and organisational skills, and be expected to work to agreed protocols and standards.
