Job summary

We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to Join our Carlisle Cancer Centre Teamwho is highly motivated with an interest in working within a cancer care setting, to join the existing nursing team to support the smooth running of clinics and offering supportive care to patients who may be at various stages of their cancer journey.

You will be involved in phlebotomy, chaperoning, general tidying / stocking up / collecting stock , supporting patients and providing support to the qualified nursing team as required.

You will be enthusiastic and have a desire to develop your knowledge and skills, be able to deliver care to the highest standard and have excellent communication skills. You should be competent in coordinating your day to day workload, able to manage your time effectively , work well as a team member and have excellent communication skills.
