Job summary
The Children's Community Nursing Team has an exciting development opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to join our service part-time on a fixed-term contract or secondment (if supported by current line manager). We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Children's nurse who has an interest in gaining experience of the Children's Community Nursing Role.
The successful candidate would be required to travel around the city to a variety of settings so therefore a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

Main duties of the job
Candidates should have a passion to provide high quality care to children with complex health needs and their families into their own homes and to support them to access education. Candidates should be a good team player with effective organisational and time management skills, be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team are also fundamental to the post.
