Job summary
The Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Department is based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and is one of the largest and most highly respected units of its kind in the UK.
The department is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a reliable, hardworking and motivated clerk/receptionist to join the Plastic Surgery Outpatient team.

The working times for this post will be 7.5 hours/day on Monday and Tuesday, the exact start and finish times can be discussed prior to starting in the role. 37.5 hours /week - Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00

Main duties of the job
You will work with the current outpatient staff carrying out duties which will include providing a full range of reception and clerical duties for patients, relatives, and carers in a pleasant, effective and efficient manner. This will include scheduling appointments, working on reception, coordinating patients' paperwork for clinics and dealing with patient telephone queries amongst other general office duties within the wider Plastic Surgery Outpatients Department.
Your focus will be working in our Plastic Surgery Laser Suite as our main clerk/receptionist for this team. There will be a mixture of patients receiving laser treatment via the NHS and some patients who will be self-paying. You will be supporting the clinical Laser team including taking payments for self-pay patients.
