This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, exceeding targets, and creating lasting impact. You'll work alongside the Digital Health Team, Programme Manager, and Project Managers within our busy Digital and Technology Services, external and internal stakeholders delivering the change engagement process for the Trusts digital programmes and projects.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and deliver engagement strategies for digital programmes.
  • Build communities and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Coordinate communications and engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to reputation management and targeted communications for departmental and Trust wide Digital change and optimisation.

Lead the future of digital engagement across the Trust.

Work with Clinical and operational teams to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions through change engagement plans.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for supporting the Change engagement and delivering effective communication of a Trust and Region wide programme of Digital and Technology Services
  • To develop and implement an agreed strategy to positively raise the profile of the Great North Care Record and Digital and Technology Services at The Newcastle Hospitals.,
  • To promote a positive image and identity of the public relations in each area of responsibility (internally/externally) and support development of existing and new websites, as required.
  • To ensure the strategic plans of the department are incorporated into all promotional and publicity materials and activity.
  • Promotion of the relevant brand/logos and implementation of re-branding as required.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a range of communication projects.
  • To support the engagement methods to gather data to present and feedback
  • Provide regular updates as necessary and appropriate on key communication, change engagement and marketing issues to a range of key internal groups such as Digital programme boards and staff engagement sessions.
  • Work with project teams to identify key external stakeholders and devise and deliver change engagement programmes to support delivery of relevant activities.
  • To identify and capture stories that show the impact of Digital projects in a positive light and to disseminate these adapting methods of delivery depending on the audience.
  • Develop and implement change engagement strategies to support programme objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Coordinate change engagement activities, workshops, and events to promote programme awareness and participation.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics, providing insights to improve strategies.
  • Collaborate with programme leads, project managers, and communications teams to ensure messaging is aligned and timely.
  • Identify risks and issues related to stakeholder engagement and propose mitigation plans.
