Job summary
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Registered Dental Nurse to support the Dental Matron in the management of dental nurse teams supporting clinical care and delivering dental nurse education.
The successful candidate will have experience in managerial role within dental nursing and will be able to motivate and inspire teams to deliver clinical and educational excellence.
In addition to having the responsibility for ensuring that the dental nurse resource is effectively utilised across the Directorate you will also be the focal point for issues relating to quality management, clinical governance, professional development and control of infection within the dental nursing team.

Main duties of the job
- To support the matron in directly managing the registered dental nursing team within the Dental Directorate ensuring effective deployment of the staffing resource to meet service needs.
- Support the dental nursing teams with optimisation of the digital programme.
- Assist in the organisation and co-ordination of work experience programmes within the Dental Hospital.
