You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Level 2 Apprenticeship Programme within the duration of the placement. This opportunity will provide you with valuable experience and offer a strong foundation for a career within the NHS.
The ENT/Audiology Department have a post for an Apprentice Administration Assistant. The successful applicants will follow an Intermediate Apprenticeship for 12 months. On successful completion, the apprentices will automatically transfer into the permanent Band 2 posts of 37.5 hour per week. The successful post holders will provide and maintain an efficient and effective administration service to the ENT out patient department which includes covering reception to contribute to the delivery of a consistently high standard of patient care as part of the multidisciplinary team.

- Reception duties
- Deal with telephone enquiries promptly.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and admissions at the request of medical staff.
- Cover administration posts Trust-wide as required.

You will need to be able to meet all the eligibility requirements as prescribed by the apprenticeship criteria to undertake the role.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship you must:
- Have the right to work and remain in the UK.
- Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.

- Be aged 18 or over (due to the nature of the shifts and role)
