Rehabilitation Assistant

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a rehabilitation assistant to work in acute trauma orthopaedics across occupational and physiotherapy services to in-patients at the RVI Newcastle.

  • 32.25 hours spread across dayshift Monday to Friday-approx. 1 bank holiday working and 1 weekend every six months.

Main duties of the job

This will involve working alongside both occupational and physiotherapy staff and carrying a small non-complex caseload under supervision.

This also includes updating spreadsheets, documentation, ordering assistive equipment and maintaining cleanliness of equipment used.

  • Have the ability to reflect and appraise own performance so to maintain own continued personal development.

  • Working as a member of a team
