Staff Nurse

The closing date is 09 November 2025

Job summary

STAFF NURSE ONLY

We've been providing patient-centred healthcare to communities in the North East of England and beyond for over 250 years and are proud to be one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, offering a vast and diverse range of specialist services.

We approach our daily work with the ethos that patients remain at the heart of everything we do, in line with the trust's Vision and Values and is reflected in our newly launched Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals Strategy.

We seek self-motivated, confident nurses with a natural aptitude for empathy and attentiveness, who can demonstrate a sensitive yet self-assured approach with patients who are often very scared and uncertain for their future.

Acting as an advocate for your patients, you will need authentic communication and listening skills, and the ability to build trust, considering all factors in their response to prognosis and treatment plans. This can require considerable resilience and insight and you will liaise with colleagues from many external partnership services, requiring good coordination and organisation skills.

  • Interview Date Monday 17 November 2025
  • Full & Part Time Hours/Week
