We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic nurse to join our existing Clinical Nurse Specialist Team within Respiratory Medicine in Medicine & Emergency Care at the RVI. The post offers a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team to be involved with conditions such as Severe Asthma and COPD.

Main duties of the job
- The role of the Band 6 Specialist Nurse will be to support the Respiratory Medicine department to provide specialist nursing input, co-ordination of care, monitoring, education, and management of patients, including those with Severe Asthma and COPD.
- Working autonomously as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with appropriate teams to ensure safe and effective transition of participants through the programme ensuring relevant information shared.
- Participate in data collection for service delivery, audit and quality surveillance.
- Run nurse led outpatient clinics - supported by B7 colleagues.
- Contribute to teaching and clinical supervision.
- Be involved in service development projects.
