Job summary
To join our team, you must be committed to the delivery of a first-class Administrative Service. Having the ability to communicate with members of the public, all staff and health care providers are essential requirements of the role as is working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our high standard of Outpatient care is maintained.
Departments are located in multiple sites across the Trust and staff are required to work across all locations, however, your main base will be at the Freeman Hospital.

Main duties of the job
- To assist in the organisation of the activity, the deployment and supervision of staff in the outpatient departments, maintaining a level of efficiency to meet the needs of the outpatient service.
 - This post holder is a member of the outpatient team across the Trust.
 - The Main Outpatient Department deals with over 280,000 patient appointments per year. We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic candidate who is an excellent team player, well motivated and capable of working in a busy and challenging environment to join our Outpatient Department.
 - To assist in the organisation of the activity and the deployment and supervision of staff in the numerous outpatient departments, maintaining a level of efficiency to meet the needs of the outpatient service.

We also have offices at Regent Point in Gosforth and community sites.
