Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join the General and Community Paediatric Team as a Clinical Administrator to the ASD service.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the clinical team, including managing digital patient records, liaising with patients and carers, coordinating appointments, and preparing reports and letters for our specialised ASD service.
This is a crucial role to support our professional teams, so we are looking for someone confident and assertive, with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. Main duties of the job
- Booking and coordinating appointments.
- Typing letters and reports.
- Proofreading of reports.
- Managing the consultants diaries and calendars.
- Updating patient records in systems like Erecords.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Distributing patient reports to parents and schools.
- Supporting the administration of team meetings.
